I'm a bit confused from the description of this game.
I guess that the nummers 01 to 64 are used? OK but why not use 00 to 63 instead then you have an additional double number which no longer requires to make 56 into a strange number. Comment (1)
thanks for your comment ... the problem is, that you are not going to escape from "56" problem ... you remove 64 from the pool of mirror numbers and there will be 39 of them ... at the same time your doubled will have 6 numbers ... so we gain nothing ... I would like to keep even numbers of these 3 sets:
mirrors, non-mirrors and doubled just for the sake of estehtics (or my prefectionism, lol) ... either we add it to doubled or mirrored set ... to keep them even ... let me think more what we can do. Andy. Comments (2)
just to continue this discussion ... here is what we may do ...
1. use numbers from 00-63 2. use 6 doubled numbers (00,11,22,33,44,55) exactly the same way as in Knight Fight ... 3. use 18 non-mirror numbers in distinct groups: 07-17-27-37-47-57 08-18-28-38-48-58 09-19-29-39-49-59 one group has 7 as an indicator, next one 8 and the last one 9. Now, when the Knight lands on let's say 38, all the numbers with 8 will be displayed to choose to eliminate them ... exatly the same way as doubled in Knight Fight ... 4. Give up the idea of using mirrored numbers on this board. 5. Non-mirrored numbers and doubled add up to 24 numbers out of 64 which is 37 percent of all of the squares ... that should be enough for this small board to have a chance to strategically outsmart the opponent ... 6. there wil be 40 free numbers to choose from when jumping, without additional fields to be eliminated. Let's try this settings. Regards, Andy. Comments (2)
I like this last variation by dicepro more than the original proposal.
Moreover, please add more historical or regional estrategic games, at least one out of 10 new ones. Thanks. Comment (1)
