1173 kbps 262 kbps From the Billings link one place close to me 4788 kbps 723 kbps at 12:35 midnight in the upper mid region of Wyoming, USA Comment (1)
I tried the test multiple times after posting my results. I notice that my download number changes quite a bit.. seems to fluctuate anywhere between 140 and 280.. however, the upload number is almost always right around the same number every time (123)

I decided to try the speed test again today, because (for ME) the site has been painfully slow the last 2 days. (up to 2 minutes for SOME pages to load.. most are much less than that, but still 2 to 3 times slower than "usual". It SEEMS like it is the graphics causing me problems. Many times, once the page finishes loading, some of the images are missing.
Yes, I know it isn't the site ITSELF.. For the heck of it, I decided to try the speed test and see if my results are different from when I tried it last week when the site was zipping along for me. The first time I tried the test today, I got 30 download and 70 upload. However, I tried it 3 or 4 times after that, and consistently got about 70 download and 80 upload. Big difference (well, it seems like a big difference, but it's not like I know what the numbers mean, lol) from my results from last week. (190 download and 123 upload) I just thought it was worth reporting.. The site has been great for me for at least 3 weeks. I wish there was a way we could tell the internet the path we want to take to brainking.. LOL.. (Or maybe it automatically goes the fastest route??) Comments (3)
