As we announced at BrainKing News yesterday, the process of migration of our servers has come to its final stage and, at this moment, it is completed and the site should be up and running with no problems. At least that's how it appears to me.

And since I can see almost 300 online users at this moment, I guess that everything is all right.
Anyway, since such event can always produce unexpected troubles (regarding connection issues etc.), I would like to post some additional information and tips which could be handy:
- Since the servers were moved to a new ISP, new IP addresses have been assigned with BrainKing.com and other domains. It means that if your local DNS server is not updated yet, your web browser would still try to connect to the former IP address where BrainKing is no longer supported. In order to solve this possible issue, a new address http://web.brainking.com has been created. If BrainKing.com(cz, de, es, it, ...) does not work for you, please try this one.
- If you still cannot connect, even using web.brainking.com address, there is an emergency option to connect through our new IP address directly. Simply type http://81.91.83.6 to your browser's address bar and press ENTER.
- New IP addresses for all our domains have been already written to DNS records and your local DNS server should be aware of them within a day or two (or even faster, if it is properly configured). However, since DNS servers in different parts of world can work differently, the former BrainKing server contains a quick redirector from BrainKing.com to web.BrainKing.com. This backup system will work to the end of September 2008, which is enough time for all DNS servers to be updated and point to the correct BrainKing location.
I would like to add that every change of this kind brings a risk of small problems, which may cause temporary site down events etc. But nothing like that has been observed so far, so I think that there is nothing to be afraid of. And if something happens, all we ask is a patience.

Thank you.
